We are proud to present the 26th Asia-Pacific Prostate Cancer Conference in Melbourne, Australia. As we return to Melbourne, one of our most celebrated host cities it's remarkable to reflect on more than a quarter of a century of progress in prostate cancer research, treatment and care since the conference first began. Prostate cancer continues to represent a major global health challenge, profoundly impacting the lives of men and their families every day. Yet, over the past decade, transformative advances have changed the landscape of prostate cancer management enabling men to live longer and with a greater quality of life, even in the face of advanced disease. In 2026, the conference will build on the success and themes of previous years, exploring next-generation targeted therapies and the expanding role of metastasis-directed treatments. We will delve into treatment intensification and sequencing strategies including how PSMA-targeted PET imaging and the next generation of PSMA-targeted radionuclide therapies are being brought into the clinic in Australia, shaping our approach to patient selection, prognostication and treatment delivery. We will explore treatment intensification and sequencing, the evolving potential of immunotherapy and how artificial intelligence is transforming prostate cancer care. From AI-driven diagnostics and imaging to risk prediction and workflow optimisation, we'll examine how these innovations are already shaping practice in Australia and what they mean for clinicians and patients in the years ahead. For our nursing and allied health professionals, the program will showcase innovations in survivorship care and tackle critical topics such as genomics, sexual rehabilitation, health equity and the management of patients receiving doublet and triplet therapies. We will continue our long tradition of engaging a world-class international faculty, bringing together leading experts, researchers and clinicians from across the globe.
