On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we warmly invite you to the V International Symposium on Soilless Culture and Hydroponics, to be held from 30 March to 03 April 2027 at the University of Palermo - Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Sciences in Palermo, Italy. The Symposium is organized by the University of Palermo under the auspices of ISHS Division Greenhouse and Indoor Production Horticulture and Working Group Hydroponics and Aquaponics, with the support of ISHS Division Precision Horticulture and Engineering, ISHS Division Vegetables, Roots and Tubers and ISHS Division Vine and Berry Fruits. This event will take place in the facilities of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Sciences, located in the beautiful landscape of Palermo, known for its rich cultural heritage and its crystal-clear seas. This Symposium will serve as a platform for researchers, students, growers, and industry professionals to present their work, share knowledge, and engage in dynamic discussions on the latest plant production advances in soilless culture and hydroponics. The scientific program will feature plenary lectures, parallel sessions, and poster presentations, with contributions from leading experts in the field. Participants will also be able to join a technical tour showcasing innovative plant production systems in Sicily, highlighting the region's adaptability to climate change and sustainable farming practices via the use of soilless culture and hydroponics.
