| The Sao Paulo Radiology Meeting (JPR), organized by the Sao Paulo Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (SPR), reaffirms its position as Latin America's premier diagnostic imaging congress. Following a historic 2026 edition - which drew over 20,000 attendees and solidified major international partnerships - the event is gearing up for a new milestone in 2027.
Central Theme: "Inspire knowledge, exhale care!" This year's theme reflects radiology's commitment to both technical excellence and the human side of medicine. According to Dr. Douglas Racy, President of the SPR, the event aims to drive the specialty's evolution through collaboration and an unwavering commitment to patient care. An Edition with Global Reach JPR 2027 promises to be one of the largest in history, simultaneously hosting the 5th World Congress of Thoracic Imaging. This international event will feature a partnership with the Society of Thoracic Radiology (STR) and the support of renowned global organizations such as ESTI, FLEISCHNER, JSTR, and KSTR. International collaboration will be a key pillar, featuring experts from Japan and South Korea alongside representatives from other nations, thereby expanding the horizons of knowledge beyond continental borders. What to expect from the event: Scientific Program: High-level courses led by hundreds of national and international instructors, focusing on the sector's latest innovations and discoveries. Technical Exhibition: A spacious exhibition area featuring over 100 market-leading companies showcasing technological launches, new products, and the traditional thematic zones (Ultrasound, Innovation, and Intervention). Networking and Audience: Expectations are set to surpass the 2026 figures, welcoming a diverse audience of congress delegates, visitors, and exhibitors from around the globe. JPR 2027 is the meeting point where knowledge transforms into care. Get ready to be inspired! Website: https://spr.org.br/ |
