SIMEI, the International Trade Fair for Winemaking and Bottling Machinery, is the leading international trade fair for wine technology. The exhibitors taking part show the excellence of Italian production in terms of machinery and equipment for the wine production cycle, covering all phases from processing, filling and packaging to conditioning and logistics. SIMEI is organised by the UIV (Italian wine Union), the most important and most representative association of Italian wine producers. It has been a biennial event in Italy since its first edition but from 2017 it will be alternating between Munich and Italy thanks to the agreement signed with drinktec, the leading trade fair for beverage & liquid food technology.
