 Centre de foires de Sherbrooke
Sherbrooke, the third-largest population centre in Quebec, did not have a suitable space to welcome large-scale professional and public events. An ultramodern, 95,000-square-foot exhibition center was opened in 2011 to meet that need, taking the old Expo Sherbrooke building's place on the market.
The objective for 2011 is to welcome, 16 events, 1,000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors. The objective for the fifth year is to reach 30 events, 3,000 exhibitors and 270,000 visitors. Once that objective is achieved, the exhibition space is planned to be enlarged of 40,000 square feet. |
