The China Electricity Council (CEC) was founded by the China State Council in 1988. At present, CEC has 1,440 members, 11 classified branches and nine specialty committees. Entrusted by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and other related government bodies, the China Electricity Council also takes over the administration of six nation-wide specialty societies. 30 power industry associations at provincial, autonomous region municipality level are the members of CEC. |
