Founded on May 21st 1936, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) is a non-profit organization of mechanical engineers engaged in the promotion of science and technology in mechanical engineering. It is also a national society closely affiliated with the China Association of Science and Technology (CAST). With a membership of 180,000 mechanical engineers and allied professionals home and abroad, CMES serves this wide-ranging technical community through high-quality programs in conferences and publications, education and accreditation, research, prize and awards, consulting services, exhibitions and various forms of outreach. |
