Korea Electronics Association serves as the representative institution of the electronics industry in Korea and takes on an extensive range of international functions, including technical support, information exchange, business cooperation with foreign corresponding institutions/commercial organizations. It makes industrial policies in Korea, encourages the development of technology, and helps Korean enterprises to create more demand, to reduce cost and to improve impor t. There are 450 members at KEA including large-scale as well as small and medium-sized enterprises whose business scope covers a wide range of information/communication products, semiconductors, electronic components, measurement instruments, consumption electronic products, and medical electronic apparatus. The main activities of KEA include proposing industrial policies, supporting domestic and foreign markets, aiming at improving the competitive power of enterprises through international business cooperation and trade support. |
